What is Site Scanner
Our Site Scanner tool is a security service created to protect your website:
Detecting malware and the latest threats that may affect your website;
Alerting you to such potential threats at an early stage and in a timely manner;
NEW: Giving you tools to react if your website is under attack.
To do the above, Site Scanner runs a variety of scans and checks on your website for signs of malware on a daily basis. If it identifies a threat, you are sent an email notification, giving you enough time to react in case of a security threat to your website. With our latest version update to Site Scanner, we are also adding tools that allow you to react and minimize the impact when your website is attacked.
The service now offers two plans: Site Scanner Basic, which is an upgraded version of our existing SG Site Scanner, and Site Scanner Premium, which includes a new set of features. Read on to learn more about these plans.
What's included in our basic Site Scanner plan
Site Scanner Basic includes many features that will detect and warn you about malware early, but now we've also added a new feature that allows you to minimize the damage in the event of an attack and measures to further protect your website.
NEW FEATURE: Site Protect
If you receive a malware notification or suspect that your website has been compromised, you can now manage four different options that you can easily enable from the Site Protect interface. It will allow you to temporarily disable file uploads to your website using three different methods: disabling FTP and/or SSH transfers, and disabling file uploads via PHP. The fourth option prevents malicious scripts from running on the server. While either of these options is enabled, you can safely check the status of the website and make sure there are no additional threats. This gives you some time to assess the situation, take steps to clean up any malicious code on your site, and minimize the damage. Once you are confident that your site is clean, you can disable the option from the Site Protect interface and resume file uploads again.
Scanning URLs
Automatic URL scans check your website URLs on a daily basis for publicly available malware on your website.
Domain Blacklist Review
We automatically check if your domain has been blacklisted for malware by any of the most popular search engines, browsers and antivirus databases. The blacklist check takes into account information from Google, Yandex, Chrome, Firefox, Norton, McAfee and more.
On-demand manual scanning (URLs, domains and files)
With Basic Site Scanner you can perform advanced scans for your website that will not only check your website URLs and domain blacklist, but will also check all files hosted on our server.
Reports by email
You will receive automatic notifications if our automatic scan detects something suspicious on your website. Additionally, you will receive a weekly summary of your website's status.
You can access 30 days of scan history for your website from the Site Scanner interface with scan results and detailed information about threats and malware (if any).
NEW: Premium Plan with fantastic additional features
We now offer a Premium plan of our Site Scanner service that includes all the previous features of the Basic plan and some exclusive features to further protect your web security.
Automatic daily file scanning
While our Basic plan scans only your URLs and domains for public threats, our korea whatsapp number data Premium plan goes even further. Scanning files at upload time
With upload-time file scanning we will check any new file that is uploaded to your website via File Manager, FTP accounts, WordPress admin panel and more. This is one of our best prevention tools that can detect malware as soon as it appears and notify you immediately via email.
Quarantine of uploaded files
Site Scanner Premium allows you to enable automatic quarantine. If you choose to do so, any new files that are detected as malicious will be automatically placed in quarantine (a separate directory, outside the document root), so that your website will not be affected. You can then manage individual quarantined files, with the option to restore the file to its original location or delete it. Uploaded file quarantine is a powerful tool that can protect your website in times of attack.
