This year at SiteGround we feel like rockstars! As I have said several times, 2018 is an important year for SiteGround Italy, not only for the great results we are achieving, but above all for the numerous projects we are starting for our Italian customers. One of the points on which we are pushing a lot are events.
At the beginning of the year, we started making a complete list of all the events that we thought were interesting to sponsor and those where we would have liked to be present and give talks. This is how we ended up defining a 2018 events calendar that is more than three times bigger than the previous year's.
In 2018, in Italy alone, we will participate in a total of more than 40 events, in some cases having to be present in different places at the same time (luckily we have also expanded the team
And now, like true rock stars, we find ourselves having to publish the calendar of the stages we will visit throughout the month of May.
Why are events important?
Developing services in Italian and creating dedicated promotions is luxembourg mobile database certainly important, but it is not enough. We believe it is important to be physically present on the territory and to have the opportunity to meet you in person to be able to help you even more. We want to break down that wall that usually comes between the large service company and its customers; we at SiteGround are real people, ready to listen to you and always available and that is how we want you to see us. And then, what better way to be able to have the SiteGround gadgets that everyone envies us. (You don't know it, but even competitors come to us to ask for our socks on the sly.)
Where can we meet?
Each event will have a dedicated promotion for everyone who comes to meet us, plus a few other surprises. As you can see from the list, this May we will start from Verona where two events await us for fairly Geek types: JS Day and PHP Day . Two different WordCamps will follow during the month, the first in Bologna with a focus purely on developers, the second in Bari , the first WordCamp in the South which we obviously couldn't miss. Freelancecamp , Creative Mornings and Netcomm Forum will instead be excellent training days in which everyone can participate without the fear of having to run into overly technical talks.
If, while wandering between one stand and another, you would also like to listen to one of our talks, don't miss Svetoslav at WC Bari, who will talk about the importance of customer service for those who have a WooCommerce site, Francesca at Freelancecamp, who will explain how to make a site secure without needing to know how to use code, and Hristo who at Netcomm Forum will talk to you about WooCommerce.
