Social login feature released to increase membership registration rates

For new users, registering for a unique e-commerce site with an ID and password every time is a hassle. As a result, features that allow users to log in with accounts such as Facebook and Google in addition to the site's unique ID and password have become popular. This has spread mainly to American e-commerce sites since around 2010, and now most well-known sites, both domestic and international, allow social login.
