Ecologistic is the new brand that brings together the logistics activities of Taxileón and Logiraees, leading companies in the logistics and storage sector of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) in Spain and with more than ten years of experience.
The new brand, Ecologistic, updates and aligns the concept with the activities carried out by this line of business, which is the collection, classification and transport of waste electrical and electronic equipment, including smarter and more sustainable transport.
The presentation of Ecologistic, which was held at the Somontes Sports Club in Madrid, was attended by more than 100 executives from the main foundations related to WEEE moj data management, treatment and recovery managers and plants, and associations of household appliance retailers in Spain.
The new brand is part of Recycling4all, a company that is present throughout the business value chain and is 75% owned by ILUNION and 25% by Fundación Repsol.
During the presentation ceremony, ILUNION's Corporate Director of Customer Experience, Digitalisation and Brand, Óscar Da Pena, expressed the group's satisfaction with the birth of Ecologistic, in a sector that has been a pioneer in terms of sustainability in our country, which "fits perfectly into our four strategic pillars and which, in addition, has the support and commitment of our partners, Fundación Repsol," he added.

NATURALLY RESPONSIBLE
Ecologistic was born with a vocation for commitment and responsibility towards citizens and as a sustainable development project, but also as an opportunity for innovation and competitiveness within the framework of the Circular Economy, leading initiatives that contribute to caring for the environment and are an example of quality green employment, as pointed out by the Director of Coordination and Development and the Managing Director of Ecologistic, Borja Vallespin and Gregorio Fernández, respectively.
To carry out its activity, Ecologistic has a total of 10 WEEE storage centres located in Andalusia, Castile and Leon, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, the Community of Madrid, Extremadura, Galicia and the Basque Country; more than 60 trucks for transporting said waste - a large percentage of which are powered by natural gas - which responds to the company's environmental commitment.
