Tell me about the pain in your business

1. Filler words
The opening sentences of this article are full of unnecessary filler words: "um," "like," "well," "maybe," "I think." Salespeople who use these words sound like hesitant amateurs, so be very careful to avoid them.

2. Overly enthusiastic language
The job of a salesperson is to stay positive. You can’t get angry or bored with laos whatsapp data yourself if you want to stay productive, and you certainly can’t get angry with your prospects. But you can overdo it: acting too enthusiastic makes you look immature.

Words and phrases like “Awesome,” “Cool,” and “Oh my God!” should be used sparingly. Overuse will make you sound like you’re back in high school and will make it less likely that potential clients will take you seriously.

3. Desecration
You never know who you might offend. In some areas, swearing is acceptable (from personal experience, I know the copy industry and Wall Street use colorful language), but in most cases it is not. If you think your prospect is a little older than average and can handle it, go for it.

4. Slang
Speaking like an authority figure doesn’t mean speaking like a pretentious robot. Speak like a business person, but don’t assume deep knowledge or experience in your buyer personas.
