In the November 2024 release of Power BI, Power BI is making significant improvements to its Snowflake connector. Queries sent to Snowflake will now include a query label that provides additional information about the query context, such as whether it originated from a direct query. This feature will be rolled out to the Power BI service later this month and is expected to be available in Power BI Desktop and the on-premises gateway in early 2025.
