Microsoft bought what will change?

For the sum of US$ 26.2 billion (around R$ 94 billion) Microsoft managed to buy LinkedIn! The social network is focused on job advertisements, articles and posts about various business sectors and from what we know so far, little should change.
Until the bureaucratic procedures are finalized (which should happen by the end of this year), everything will remain as normal. Jeff Weiner, CEO and executive leader of LinkedIn, stated in a mint database post on the official blog of the social network for professionals and job openings that the site will maintain its brand and operation. In a more informal post on his LinkedIn profile, Jeff posted a text detailing some of the possible changes that may occur on the network:
“Think of the things LinkedIn can do integrated with Outlook, Calendar, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Windows, Skype, Dynamics, Cortana, Bing and more”
In addition to offering more features, with the aim of reaching Microsoft's audience as well, in addition to creating new functions so that job opportunities are greater and more far-reaching.
“Satya (Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft) convinced me when he said we would have independence. In other words, his vision is for LinkedIn to operate entirely on its own, within Microsoft, in a model used by successful companies such as YouTube, Instagram and WhatsApp,” he said.
Check out the conversation between the two in the video below:
This purchase was the largest acquisition made by Microsoft, to clarify the reasons for the large amount invested, here are some numbers from LinkedIn:
19% year-over-year growth;
433 million registered users worldwide;
9% growth;
over 105 million unique member visits per month;
34% growth;
over 45 billion pageviews per quarter.
All this, not to mention the seven million jobs listed on the page. And Microsoft thinks that all of this can greatly help the Microsoft Office project. In any case, we still don't have any concrete information about changes that are coming. We can only wait and keep an eye on the information shared by the companies' channels.
