They are the first telecom in Croatia to introduce Netflix to their offering, they are one of the few to enable payments with Revolut and KeksPay, and their insurance and Home Help services are no small feat.
All of the above are part of the services developed by the New Business team within A1, which we recently had the opportunity to meet. In order to discover how they became a true innovation force within A1 Croatia, who makes up the team, how they come up with ideas, and how they managed to bring Netflix into their offering, we spoke with Iva Maršanić , Magda Milas , Zvonimir Keva , Vlado Maslać and Iva Babić .

Four industries, one team – New Business
New Business, as we mentioned earlier, is a department within A1 loan database whose focus is on expanding business activities beyond traditional telecommunications services , using partnerships and new technologies to create additional value for customers.
The team consists of experts from different industries and people from telecom who were ready to make changes, and their current focus is on four industries: telcosurance, entertainment, security and fintech .
"I believe that at some point we will expand into some new industries," Iva Babić tells us, adding that the support of all stakeholders and the perseverance and determination of the team are crucial for every move .
I remember those beginnings and how we had to try to create something new in several different ways , to find the right one that attracted attention within the company, but also from the companies we later collaborated with.
