If we can recreate a failed crawl with a simple check above, it's likely that Googlebot is consistently failing to retrieve our page and this is usually one of the root causes.

But it may not be. Due to the nature of technology, many issues are contradictory. ;)

3. Are we telling Google two different things?
Next: Google can find the page, but are we confusing it by telling it two different things?

This is the most common in my experience, cayman islands number data someone has messed up the indexing instructions.

By "indexing directive", I'm referring to any tag that specifies the correct indexing status or page in the index that should be ranked. Here's a non-exhaustive list:

No-index
Canonical
Mobile Alternative Tags
AMP alternative tags
An example of delivering mixed messages would be:

Without indexing page A
Page B Canonicals to Page A
Or:

Page A has a canonical in a header from A with a parameter.
