In fact, all power tools and household appliances are driven by electric motors, the basis of which is an anchor (rotor), consisting of a winding and contact plates.
If the drive stops working, then with a working winding, the reason may be in the plates. One or two of them can simply be torn off. However, this is not a reason to buy a new expensive motor. You can restore the contact plates from improvised materials and literally "on your knee".

You will need

To repair the anchor in case of such a breakdown, we should prepare the following materials:

Without a lathe we will need many tools and devices: a knife and a brush, pliers and a screwdriver, a hammer and anvil, a file, sandpaper and a needle, a drill and a soldering iron, a vice and a punch, a caliper and a pencil.
The order of restoration of the anchor collector plates

First, we tidy up the bases of the plates that have flown off. To do this, we remove small particles and dust from the recess in the collector with a brush. Then, with a knife, we align the places for the new plates greece telegram data along the length, width, and depth. At the same time, try not to damage the ends of the windings that go to the missing plates.

We cut the outer insulation of the two-core copper wire with a knife, bite off one of them, and pull the core out of the inner insulation with pliers.

We flatten the copper wire to form two plates with a hammer and anvil.

At the same time, from time to time we compare the workpiece with the undamaged plates on the anchor collector so that the width of the workpiece is not greater.

Having obtained approximately the required cross-section from the copper wire, we bring it to the required dimensions with coarse-grained sandpaper P80, evenly processing each side, and also checking with whole plates.
