The most important marketing goals remained the same: 58% of respondents want to increase traffic to the website and 57% say that converting visitors or leads into customers is a priority. 46% see increasing sales from existing customers as their most important task. But how do they want to achieve this?
1. Content is becoming increasingly important
While search engine optimization remains the number one inbound marketing project, content distribution and amplification and blog post creation follow closely behind. Since relevant content is becoming increasingly important for SEO and ultimately for lead generation, these two points are closely related. In content marketing, greater emphasis is placed on different formats to address different target groups, and visual content such as videos is used more frequently.
