In its first years of life, Google functioned rather simply: we could say that it worked like a particularly pedantic librarian. In practice, when a user entered the word “pizza” in the search bar, Google would analyze the web documents (sites) in its catalog and return all the results that contained the term “pizza”. If the owner of a pizzeria’s website had problems with spelling and accidentally wrote “pziza” on his pages, Google was unable to identify it in the search.

The first real advances in language understanding were greece telegram data precisely those related to errors and typos. Google learned to recognize patterns by trying to understand the most common spelling and typing errors… a development that would eventually lead to the development of tools that today we consider indispensable, such as Google Suggest. The real turning point, however, came in 2015, when Google introduced RankBrain. Google RankBrain: the beginning of a new era I’ll say it bluntly: the arrival of RankBrain revolutionized the world of SEO.

RankBrain was like the asteroid that ended the age of dinosaurs. Before RankBrain, we lived in a (virtual) world dominated by large reptiles: impressive, yes, but also a bit dull. With RankBrain, instead, the dominance of mammals began, the age of the smartest and most adaptable. But why did RankBrain shake up the SEO universe so much?
