Privacy on TwitterPublic or private account?

Post by sakib60 »

If you want to be able to select who can read what you post on Twitter, go to “Settings” -> “Privacy” and select “Protect your tweets.” This way, only users you approve will be able to see what you post.

Who can send you direct messages?
In "Settings" -> Privacy, you also have the option to decide buy bulk sms service whether anyone can send you a direct message. If you don't select "Receive direct messages from anyone," only those you follow will be able to send you messages.

Block accounts?
If a Twitter user is bothering you, you don't want them to read what they post, or they're attacking you, you can block them: you won't see their Tweets in your timeline, and blocked accounts won't be able to follow you or view your profile. In "Settings" -> "Blocked Accounts," you can see which users you've blocked and decide whether to unblock them.

Keep an eye on the apps, also on Twitter
You should periodically review the “Applications” section .
