To ensure that shipment tracking is working smoothly, it's a good idea to preview and test your WooCommerce emails to see if the extension is working.
To do this, you can go to your online store and place an order as a custom customer would. You should use your own email address so you can see what the email notification looks like.
Expert Tip: Emails sent directly from WordPress sometimes disappear or end up in your clients' spam folders.
To avoid this, you can check out our guides on how to fix WordPress not sending emails and how to fix WooCommerce not sending order emails .
Next, go back to your WordPress admin panel, find your fake order, and add fake overseas data tracking information by following the instructions in step 3. You can use random numbers like “123456789”.
If you set the order status to “Completed” or “Delivered” and you receive an email with the tracking link for your order, this means that tracking is working.
This is what the email should look like. If you click the "Track Your Order" button, you will be redirected to the shipping service provider's website.
