Vectorization is a key step in the logo design process. Once the designer has identified the best concept from all the sketches, it is time to transform it into a vector form using a graphics program.

Having a logo in vector format brings a number of benefits that affect both the quality of graphic presentation and flexibility in various contexts. It is an investment in a durable, versatile and professional visual identification of the brand.

Here are some key benefits of having a vector logo.

Scalability without loss of quality - Vector logos maintain quality and sharpness regardless of the size of the presentation. They can be freely scaled to different dimensions, and used in many projects from small business cards to banners and large-format billboards in high resolution without losing detail or readability.
Precision - Vectors are based on mathematical equations, objects such as shapes, lines and curves are represented using mathematical equations and coordinates, unlike raster graphics where the image is stored as a set of pixels. Due to this mathematical nature, vector graphics are ideal for representing simple and complex shapes, including logos.
Color flexibility - The vector version of the company logo greatly facilitates the work of graphic designers, who can change the color with literally two mouse clicks - adapting it to a given project - of course in accordance with the designer's assumptions and the brand book prepared by him.

Plagiarism Check
At this stage, it is worth checking if someone has created something very similar before. Although it is impossible to absolutely confirm uniqueness, it is always worth doing at least a quick test, especially if our project is very simple and minimalistic.

For this purpose, we can use Google Images or the EUIPO search engine .

Visual identification
Based on the prepared materials, style, and logo design itself, I propose a visual identification of the brand. Which is a valuable source of information about the brand and its presentation. This material should ensure distinctiveness and recognition against the competition. It is a fundamental element in creating a further image of the company. The main element of visual identification is the logo, but also:

symbols, patterns, shapes.
Typography.
Colour scheme.
Samples of DTP materials (business cards, letterhead, etc.).

Logo Presentation and Verification
The time has come for the logo design, along with the ig database basic visual identification, to be sent to the Client. This is the moment when the designer contacts the client and conveys the result of his work, opening the door to dialogue and possible minor changes to the project. Based on the feedback, the designer makes any corrections. The client should be fully satisfied with the final version. Approval means that the logo is ready for official implementation as a key element of the brand's visual identification.

Sign Book
The logo creation process ends with the preparation of a brand book, i.e. a project summary that is not only documentation but also a guide for the proper use of the new logotype.

The brand book contains:

Visual documentation - presents the logo in various versions, includes various color options.
Origins and Construction - describes the inspiration and thought process.
Variants - extended or shortened versions of the logo and scaling information.
Colors - defines the color palette of a given brand. Used to maintain consistency and recognition.
Protective field - an area that should remain free from other elements, providing the logo with adequate space relative to other elements in a given design, e.g. on a banner.
Usage Guidelines - includes suggestions for proportions and places where the logo should be used.
Brand values - a guide that allows you to maintain uniformity in creating a brand image.
It is worth remembering to send the brand book to the client in digital form, which will allow you to work with it online, share it with partners, and update it as necessary.

Summary
A logo is a unique identifying mark, designed to distinguish a company from its competitors and be a key element of visual identification. The process of its design is very complex and multi-stage, from briefing to final design. The logo should be constructed in such a way that it quickly facilitates brand recognition and reflects its essence.
