In Spain, 68% of the business fabric has at least a basic level of digitalization compared to 69% in the European Union . 12.3% use artificial intelligence and 14.3% use big data or data intelligence , according to the 'Digital Decade 2023 Report' of the European Commission.
They are not the only ones. Other techniques such as robotics are making their way into companies, although their adoption is still incipient. Only 7.8% of companies with more than 250 employees and 1.4% of micro-enterprises acknowledge the use of robots . These figures are provided by the study 'Brújula | Digital technologies in the company' by the National Observatory of Technology and Society (ONTSI).
These are still figures that need to be improved and are far from the objectives set for 2030 by the European Union. The advantages of ICT are already more than evident, regardless of the size of the company and its sector of activity.
