Post by arzina566 »

Whether or not a vaccine for corona is found soon, working from home will become the norm. It now looks like most organizations will opt for a hybrid model in the future, with employees working partly from home and partly in the office. What does this mean for leadership? How do you lead a remote team as a manager? How do you keep your team engaged and inspired? And what does this mean for the future of 'the office' as we know it?

These questions were discussed and answered as much as possible during The Next Web Conference 2020. In my previous article I shared my learnings about the people who work from home, are part of these remote teams and try to survive in a new and constantly changing world.

In this article I will discuss the managers of teams. japan telegram data About the fact that they do not have to act big, that they may (if not must) be themselves.

There were quite a few assumptions about remote working before corona. People would be less productive, you would not be able to work together as a team, leadership has to be face-to-face. All these assumptions have proven to be untrue after six months of working from home. It has become clear that remote management - just like working from home and staying sane - is a challenge. What does remote working require in terms of leadership?

No different than before, it is still about motivating, inspiring and facilitating a group of people who want to achieve a goal together. The context has only changed. You are leading remotely, online, and there are many uncertainties. On a micro level, the health and well-being of your people and on a macro level, the global economy. Leadership has never been so challenging!
