How can Semrush help you?

Post by ahbappy250 »

There are two main tools to monitor local visibility with Semrush.

The first is Location Tracking , which offers an all-in-one dashboard to monitor keyword sets across multiple locations and devices in the same project .

The second is the Listing Management dbtodata tool, which allows you to monitor your Google Maps rankings street by street for up to five keywords.

In addition to tracking rankings, the Position Tracking tool will give you tons of information such as local search volume, local competitors, percentage of traffic to your domain (share of voice), and estimated traffic.

What can you do with these local SEO monitoring tools?
Identify local search volume differences across cities

Discover your biggest competitors in different cities

Compare traffic estimates for ten different location/device combinations from a single dashboard

Compare mobile and desktop visibility for your target keywords

Analyze Your Competitors' Top Landing Pages

Compare traffic estimates for different locations and devices

Plot locations on Google Maps in a custom grid

If you don’t want to check your project every day, you can set up custom triggers to alert you of any significant drops or spikes in your results.

Keyword research is an essential part of any marketing strategy, but many keyword research tools only provide you with estimates of national search volume .

To find local volume differences on Semrush, follow these steps:

Set up a Location Tracking campaign and choose a specific city, so you can see local volume.
Add your target keywords and start tracking
Once your campaign is launched, select the Device & Locations tab.
Choose "Add new device or location".
Add the new location using the same keywords and device type.
Switch to the Devices & Places tab
