In the span of three months starting in October 2018, a small business was faced with a sudden spike in the number of backlinks pointing to its website. The number of backlings had grown india contact number list dramatically, from 275 to 341,824.

This suspicious activity has not brought any obvious negative results, but it still keeps us busy managing these unexpected backlinks. Most of these links point to a non-existent page.
How can you protect a website from fake links?

Check your site's Authority Score value and trend . A drop in the score may mean that there is something wrong with your backlink profile.
Update your Disavow file regularly if you receive toxic backlinks that you have no option to remove.
